End of day 1
All in all, not as productive as I’d like. I’m happy with the concept I came up with, but I spent too much time making awesome pictures and not enough time writing code. So far all I have is the two player sprites being drawn in position, and part of the D-meter class. I would expect to be this far along code-wise within an hour or two of coming up with the concept!
The main trouble was coder’s-block: trying to wrap my head around all the parts and classes of the game that I’d need, and what order to implement them. I think working on the images was partly just procrastination, which is not a good tactic during a time-limited event like this.
Fortunately, I still have all day tomorrow and about half of Sunday to implement the darn thing.
